## Which age group is 'Maths Trumps' aimed at?'Maths Trumps' is suitable for
all ages and abilities. Younger children could initially play the game using a single category (e.g. number of sides), whereas older and more able players would be expected to use every category, as intended in the full game rules.## Will 'Maths Trumps' provide differentiation for my pupils?Absolutely! The questions/categories vary in difficulty and can be included or omitted as desired during a game. Also, the bonus questions are an optional extra that will really motivate more able players. Some of the bonus questions are quite tricky too!
## How much does 'Maths Trumps' cost? That will depend on how many packs are purchased. For example, a large class bundle will work out cheaper per individual pack (See purchase page for prices.)
## Can 'Maths Trumps' be played using any alternative rules ?By all means, yes. For example:
- Instead of winning a card from every opponent for correcting answering the bonus question, you may wish to play a game where you only win an extra card from a nominated opponent! That will inject a little added rivalry into the game!
- Perhaps you could play as teams, either collectively or by nominating team members for each round.
Other ideas would be gratefully received if they work for you. Do get in touch! ## Are other topics available in 'Maths Trumps'Hopefully, '2D Shapes' will be the first topic of many in the 'Maths Trumps' series.
Your feedback will be important in determining what happens next, but it would certainly be an exciting prospect to to be able to expand the 'Maths Trumps' empire! Watch this space! |
